GROM Productions is an independent Dutch production company. Sacha Gertsik & Steven Rubinstein Malamud founded GROM to produce a wide range of projects. What these projects all have in common is that they challenge the norms of society. We produce from the philosophy that how we work is as important as the end result. We look at anything we do through an intersectional lens and actively work towards a safer working environment for everyone involved in our productions and in the industry at large. We also make it a priority to work with a diverse team: from directors and writers to other talents, in front and behind the camera.

So far GROM has produced films by female first time directors Isis Cabolet and Tessa Kortmulder and we are now in post-productions on a film of Ivo van Aart. At the same time we are co-producing films by international upcoming directors Ózge Akarsu, Fil Ieropoulos and Parsa Ansari. The debut feature of Naomi Pacifique is financing. As we find it important to invest in developing new talent, we are working on short films of young directors Engel Stam, Job Leuven and Randa Peeters.
