PROSPEKTOR is a documentary production agency founded by Eefje Blankevoort & Arnold van Bruggen. Today, Prospektor is run by Eefje. We make (interactive) documentaries but also podcasts, books, exhibitions and often everything at the same time. We are interested in stories that bring about change, stories that can tip someone’s perspective. Not from black to white or vice versa, but in a more layered and complex way, using stories that can accommodate different voices. Stories that can counter uninformed cynicism.

I've been living in Sexbierum, Friesland, for three years. It's alienating, funny, I meet different kinds of people there. They are more like me than I thought. I am one of them. Sort of. And yet I feel more uprooted than ever and long for a home. A place where I belong and can be. Tina in Sexbierum explores in a personal way how we have become so far apart, when ultimately we all have the same longing for a home.
